This map folio set is a collaborative research project between the United States Geological Survey (USGS) and the Arkansas Geological Survey (AGS). This map series consists of a digital database with a series of interpretive digital maps (plates) depicting the location, depth, and thickness of lignite resources in the Mississippi Embayment province of eastern Arkansas.
