| General Description | This guidebook provides infomation on 13 outcrops in the eastern Paleozoic rocks of the Ouachita Mountains of central Arkansas that were selected to demonstrate the intensity and styles of deformation in various structural belts, show distinctive lithologies, depositional environments, and to define the biostratigraphic framework. Additionally, some discussion is presented on the formation of late Paleozoic hydrothermal quartz veins, and Cretaceous igneous intrusives.
