General Description This report is a joint research project between the Arkansas Geological Survey and Shell Exploration and Production Company of Houston, Texas. The focus of the study is a structural and stratigraphic assessment of the Rex Timber No. 1-9 well drilled in 1985 and located in the southern Ouachita fold and thrust belt, Clark County, Arkansas. The Mississippian Stanley Formation and the Pennsylvanian Jackfork Formation were the exploration objectives and were penetrated to a total depth of 6,765 ft. All data, maps and reports are compiled on CD-ROM.
