This report presents information concerning the occurrence, availability, movement, recharge, discharge, and mineral quality of the ground water in Drew County in southeastern Arkansas.

It includes:

• A discussion of the underlying ground-water bearing formations of the study area; their lithology and structure
• A discussion of the occurrence of ground water in the study area, with sections on recharge, movement, and discharge, permeability, and fluctuations of water levels
• A discussion of the use of ground water in the study area, with sections on domestic, public, industrial, and irrigation supplies
• A discussion of the quality of ground water in the study area, with sections on individual chemical constituents and properties
• Logs of wells in the study area
• Maps showing geology and locations of wells, and average minimum depths at which fresh water may be obtained from wells
• Recovery curves for aquifer tests
• Generalized cross section of the geologic formations in the study area, using electric logs
• Water-level measurements in Quaternary deposits
